Hampshire walks
Not a mountain in sight but Hampshire, my home county and somewhere I ahev lievd all my life, provides some very pleasant walks on the rolling chalk downland, especially to teh east of Winchester. It will also be home to newest of the National parks, the New Forest.

Cheriton

Nearly 14 miles. The route can be broken down into two shorter routes if time is tight. (26 July 2002)

Hawkley
|
A 9½ mile walk circular walk from Hawkley, to the northwest of
Petersfield, and passing through the lovely village of Selborne (24
April 1999)

Horsebridge and the River Test
|
A 7 mile walk circular walk in typical southern Hampshire chalkland scenery that takes in part of the River Test and small length of the Test Way.

Test Way and Romsey Canal
|
Nearly 13 miles. The route strats at Romsey and follows part of the Test Way as it heads north. It returns alongside the old canal that used to link Southampton to Andover. (8 June 2002)

A 8 mile walk from Wherwell, between Winchester and Andover, taking
in part of the old "Spratt & Winkle Railway" and the lovely River
