These photographs were taken during a holiday to the western USA during September 2001, using a Minolta Dimage 7 camera. Before viewing the photos, please read the brief history of the Railroad.

Class K-37 497, built sometime between 1928-1930, the heaviest loco on the line, weighing some 137 tons. (53Kb) |

| Snow plough OM is one of two rotary ploughs that were used to keep the line clear of the deep snow drifts each winter. OM was built in 1889 and is currently out of service. The other rotary plough, OY, was built in 1923 and is used at the start of each season to clear any remaining drifts. (62Kb) |
